How old is Indian rail? I have heard that it is very old. Please answer.

Indian rail has many old trains running in perfect conditions even today. Some are as old as 100 years.

I don’t know how old it is. I am interested in only travelling in the trains not its history.

Indian rail was established in 1853 and the first train that travelled was between Mumbai and Thane.
